Stan started The Garden Barber in 2017 for busy Brisbane homeowners.
It was just him at the start. The business has since grown into a team that looks after gardens in the inner suburbs.
Stan has formal horticultural training.

We work in the Brisbane CBD and 23 inner suburbs.
We look after homes in the Brisbane CBD and the inner suburbs around it. If you're close by but your suburb isn't on our list, ask us and we can confirm availability.
Along with the regular maintenance, we can give advice on plant health, irrigation and what to plant.

We try organic methods first wherever it's practical, such as organic fertiliser, compost and natural pest control.

Our equipment is modern and electric. It's quieter, and there are no petrol fumes.

Plenty of inner city blocks have tight access and a small lawn squeezed in between established hedges and garden beds. Some have irrigation to keep an eye on as well.
On regular visits we look after the lawn, hedges and beds, and check the irrigation. Once we've seen your property, we'll recommend how often to come.

How is The Garden Barber different from a mowing service?
We mow and edge lawns, and we look after the rest of the garden too. That includes pruning, hedges, irrigation checks and advice on plant health.
Do you take one off jobs as well as regular clients?
Yes, both: regular or seasonal visits, or a one off tidy up.
What qualifications does the team hold?
The team holds qualifications in horticulture, and Stan has formal horticultural training.
